Idyllwild grace_spath September 12, 2016 All, Journeys 0 Comment We took a quick day trip to Idyllwild for a bit of hiking and fresh mountain air. Scout got a little car sick just before we got to our destination- the welcome center. However, it turned out to be closed that day (closed on mondays and tuesdays). Unwilling to put the car sick child back in the car right away I stayed with kids in the parking area while pops dashed out for a snack for the kids. This turned out to be the best part of the day for the children. In the area surrounding the nature/welcome center there are tons of huge boulders and trees to climb on as well as some trails, tiny caves, chipmunks, and lizards. They had the best time rock climbing and role playing.
