It will continually boggle my mind when people are skeptics to herbalism and natural remedies, yet will swallow whatever pill big Pharma throws their way without a second thought. It’s national pharmacy day, and I grew up with my father being a pharmacist and my brother has recently received his doctorate in pharmaceuticals (congrats again bro), so I am in no way saying pharmacists are the anti-christ. I am very thankful for modern medicine for the times they are needed. It has no doubt saved countless lives. What I am saying is, why? Why the skepticism? Why the unwillingness to even give natural remedies a try? Will there be negative side effects? Sure there is some possibility of that, as with anything. Surely I do not need to remind you of the long list of side effects every pharmaceutical comes with and most still use without a single thought. Natural remedies are often treated as guilty until proven innocent- meaning they are not given any credit until repeated evidence is given over and over and over again that they totally work every time. Meanwhile, modern western medicine can admit that they don’t work that well but are still given and taken without fail.
On this national day of pharmacy, I want to say thank you to all the pharmacists out there working to provide relief and new remedies for all in need. I also want to plead with you all to acknowledge and accept that sometimes that relief can be growing in the natural world around us, and that not every physical and mental need is in need of pharmaceuticals. Drop your guard, listen to your heart, connect with your ancestors, and give natural a try.
Of course you know by now I am an avid essential oil user. it is my go-to medicine chest for everything from infections, to headaches, to emotional support and more. If you would like to get the premium starter kit- which has been put together to give you ATLEAST one option for every system of the body (12 oils total) plus a diffuser, I would love to give you $25 back on that purchase. In addition to the kit you will have access to a amazing group of people to support you and learn from each other as you start to learn and lean more on this natural option. Send me a message and I’ll help you get started or simply click this link: oilwith.me/gracespath
I have also started the intermediate course at herbal academy to learn all I can about herbal remedies outside of essential oils (though essential oils is also a part of the course.) You can click here to learn more about that:
disclaimer: always consult with your doctor on health related issues. I am not a doctor and am not telling or suggesting that anyone does not take their prescribed or recommended medicine. I am only stating that natural alternatives has worked well for me and my family.
